Modupe Adedeko fondly called ‘Modupethebaker’ is a versatile and professional baker. She is the owner of an online bakery called MD’s Bakeshop located in Lagos, where they make varieties of beautiful cakes and baked products for every occasion.
She also organizes an open and free online training twice a year as her social responsibility to the general public.
WHY SHE BECAME A BAKER
She has always had a sweet tooth since she was a little girl, her love for sweet cakes made her passionate about baking cakes which became a hobby.
Due to the high rate of unemployment in the country, she decided to turn her hobby into a profitable business.
She is also always happy to put a smile on other people’s faces with her beautiful cakes and baked products.
HELPING OTHER PEOPLE TO BECOME BAKERS
She believes waiting for the government to create jobs in this century is a tough call, for this reason, she wants to help people become job creators and no longer job seekers. Distance is not a barrier for learning all thanks to technology.
She has been running a series of training to help people turn their hobby of baking into a profitable business with basic items from the kitchen of their homes producing the best cakes and baked products.
