Meet Rita Ejelehi Brodie-Mends – A Successful Entrepreneur, Business Coach & Humanitarian

Rita Ejelehi Brodie-Mends is the Co-Founder and Managing Director of HIS GRACE VENTURES (Owners of The Taroona Margarine Brand, Brody’s Farms & Brody’s Bakery)

She is also an Entrepreneur Coach & Founder of “The Spirit-Filled Entrepreneur” Movement and The WURA-CARE Foundation.

She has a degree in the English Language, and a Master’s Degree in Mass Communication and she is currently a Doctoral Student at Walden University in Minnesota. She is also an alumnus of the prestigious Regenesys Business School in Sandton, South Africa.

She has 15years of experience in the financial services industry before she exited in 2019.

Rita is happily married to her husband of 18yrs – Adebayo Brodie-Mends and they have two teenage children.

Her Business: His Grace Ventures

Rita co-founded His Grace Ventures with her husband in 2016. She started out with less than N50,000 as a small side business selling eggs.

This small business has now birthed other businesses in the Food and Confectionery industry in less than five years and all businesses combined have become a force in the food and confectionery industry remarkable with well over 40 staff and hundreds of distributors in every state in Nigeria, Ghana and the Benin Republic.

His Grace Ventures is into large scale margarine importation, poultry farming, airline catering, confectionery production and sales. They are the legal owner of these brands – Brody’s Bakery, Brody’s Farm Fresh Eggs and Taroona Margarine.

Some of their clients are Serveair, Shoprite, Spar, Grandsquare, Mallmart, Cakes ‘N’ Cream, Sweet Sensations, Diva Cakes, Domino Group, Grandex Bakery, Baker’s Choice, Fifi’s Oven, Araba Home-Made, Chattered Airlines and over hundred Taroona Margarine distributors nationwide, Ghana and in the Republic of Benin.

They are about to launch other excellent Baking products into the Nigerian Market: shortenings, whip creams and butter blends.

 

 

Her Movement: The Spirit-Filled Entrepreneur

As an Entrepreneur Coach, she started “The Spirit-Filled Entrepreneur” movement on social media.

Her aim is to reach out to budding and aspiring Christian entrepreneurs who intend to start and grow their businesses using Christian and biblical principles.

As a successful entrepreneur, who has built and grown businesses, she is using her knowledge and experience to help other business owners reach their goals.

Her Foundation: WURA-CARE Foundation

She founded the WURA-CARE Foundation as a support mechanism for widows, single mothers, and women in general who need business mentoring and financial support to birth, and grow their entrepreneurial dreams.

Her aim is to help women who in turn will become formidable support to their families and the society at large.

WURA-CARE Foundation has supported over 50 widows and single mothers financially to start and scale up their businesses.
