Bukola Bimbo-Obafunwa is a registered Architect with over 14 years of experience in Architecture, Design, Project Management and Furniture Manufacturing. She obtained a BSc and M.Arch from the Obafemi Awolowo University.
Her interest in design and its influence on the built environment and human well-being led her to found VO3 Designs in 2016. She also uses her knowledge of Product Management to create products that meet the needs of users.
She is a World Bank Scholar of Entrepreneurial management at the Pan Atlantic University’s Enterprise Development Centre (Lagos Business School), a fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) Regional Leadership Centre and a beneficiary of the WIMBIZ WIMCAP training for women in Business.
Bukola is also an author and speaker, passionate about personal and professional development for young people, and through her platform ‘Be Network’ encourages and pushes others to be the best possible versions of themselves.

Why she started V03 Designs
We asked Bukola Bimbo-Obafunwa why she is so passionate about her work, and this is what she said: Vo3 was founded to reduce waste, especially waste generated from shipping crates and pallets. We set out to upcycle these to create various furniture items.
Personally working or spending time outdoors has always been a sure way of relieving stress and boosting my mental ability to create. It then became important for me to not just enjoy this experience but also recreate it for as many people as possible.
Spending time outdoors and with nature has immense benefits on our mental and overall health, it also helps to raise well-grounded and happier children.
