In 2017, Vera Alex published a book titled Broken But Beautiful. The book reviews graphic issues about healing after sexual abuse, failure, and rejection based on the author’s life experiences.
She also launched the Vera Alex Coaching Company, a company on a mission to provide mental, emotional, spiritual and financial wholeness to people from all walks of life.
The Change Makers Challenge
The Change-Maker Challenge is a grant-giving initiative by the Vera Alex Initiative. It was borne out of the passion to allow African change-makers to impact the educational system within their communities with global recognition for such impact.
The theme for this challenge is ‘How to Reduce Child Sexual Abuse in Africa using Storytelling and Technology’ and it is open to employees and entrepreneurs passionate about impacting children in Africa with their time and resources.
