Dr Vivian Okoye Is Helping Young Parents Raise Confident, Wholesome And Trauma-Free Children, And Live Their Best Lives While At It

As a young mum, even though I promised myself to be the best parent to my kids, I found myself constantly overwhelmed, frustrated, angry and yelling at my kid at the slightest provocation. I wanted to to do better so I started to seek help and research until I delved into the field of child psychology which opened my eyes to childhood behaviour and how parenting can deeply affect children. That encounter totally transformed my life.

Teresa Oyibo Ameh Is Doing Good For Vulnerable Girls Who Have No One To Help Them

The good thing was that these girls were trained and when I went back to the school I discovered they were training other girls. So it now has a ripple effect, if we trained ten girls and they've been able to train twenty, invariably thirty girls have been trained. The programme for the girls was initiated so as to put an end to girls being vulnerable that a man will say "I’m marrying you because I want to feed you, the girl should be able to say I can feed myself"

With Toyin Owoade’s Guidance, Stay-At-Home Mums Can Make Money From Home Using Their Smartphones

Growing up my parents were often away from home due to the nature of their jobs. We hardly had time to bond as a family, even though I desired it as a growing child. Tinuola Okenimkpe Is Helping Women Find The Courage To Live Their Best Lives After Divorce Or Separation

My marriage ended after 10 years. From my experience, I found out that society has defined the way a divorced woman should look and how she should carry herself. It was considered a thing of shame and you were literally labelled a failure. And many others remained in marriages that should never have been because of the fear of stigmatisation.

Dr Abimbola Adegbuyi Has Written A Book To Share How She Went From 85kg To 70kg In 28 days With Natural Foods!

My weight loss and wellness with natural foods journey started in 2016 during my stay with my dad while he was on admission at Federal Medical Center in Abeokuta in Ogun State, Nigeria, where I saw the pains, agonies and sufferings of man. I saw people dying, I saw hope dashed, I saw the limit of human pride and esteem lost to sicknesses and diseases.

Efe Fagbeja Is Helping Women Discover Themselves & Find Fulfillment In Their Lives

I grew up with my grandmother who was a deaconess and used to counsel so many women, and I thought it was unfair that women often seemed to get the shorter end of the stick, often having to sacrifice their dreams and life goals for the sake of others. As I grew older and started to navigate my own challenges as a woman, I found strategies that have worked for me over the years, and I have used them to help several women navigate their circumstances over the last 14 years.

Because Of Sally Suleiman’s Kindness, Some Children In Rural Areas Will Get Education

Sally’s love for the underprivileged started from when she was in Primary school. She would give out her old school wears to children who couldn’t afford them and saved her lunch money for them. She would go to motor packs to see children hawking and buy off their trays with the little stipend given to her by her parents. The NGO is in honour of her late Mum who died when she was 5years old and her Step Mum who raised her.
