Kimisha King has built a reputation through her volunteerism. She is an author, publisher, podcaster, international speaker, content creator, certified master trainer, international life purpose coach, visionary strategist, and entrepreneur.

This exceptional young woman from the island of Barbados has dedicated her life to advancing the success of women and young people. As a visionary strategist and life-purpose coach, she helps women birth their visions and walk in purpose by equipping them with practical tools to accomplish every goal they have for themselves, despite their dysfunctional backgrounds. Her mission is to provide her audience with the tools and strategies to reach their goals.

As the founder and CEO of Queensmindset, Kimisha created a platform where women learn to redesign their lives using her framework, Reimagine Your Reality™.

Over 500 media houses have featured her across the USA and Nigeria.

We asked Kimisha why she is so passionate about what she does, and this is what she said:

I came from a family of dysfunction and humble beginnings. I would use television to escape the pain of the reality I was experiencing daily. But I had a resilient mother who was determined to ensure I received the best of life in the best way she knew how.

My mother taught me this resilience as she overcame life’s challenges, but  I noticed that no one was there to celebrate or highlight her for all she could overcome. Why? Because being a strong woman is expected. You don’t get a badge of honour for that; at least, that’s not the norm.

So, at the age of 4, I decided, as I watched those television shows and imagined having the life of the actors/actresses, that I would become a great one day and that I would also celebrate and help women to see their worth and greatness.

I have created a show called Battered Bruised Not Broken to highlight women from all backgrounds worldwide who have overcome various adversities.

Through the show, I saw a need to highlight and celebrate women even more for their sacrifices and resilience. It just gives me great joy to see the success these remarkable women from around the globe have achieved in light of all the hardships they have faced.

Today, I am also the publisher of the I am Woman Bold and Fearless Magazine, first published in 2022. The idea for the magazine came from my love for seeing women win. In addition, it speaks to strength, boldness, fierceness, and tenacity. The publication was designed to encourage the average woman struggling to overcome.

Every day, I interact with women, and most of the time, they are amazed to see that someone so young can be so wise. I have had women who reached out and thanked me for my labour of love and obedience, and  I will never forget my encounter with a lady last year who told me, “Because of your videos, I decided not to commit suicide because I have so much more to live for”.

The money isn’t the best part of what I do, but the impact I have been making and seeing the women who are now accomplishing their dreams because I made the brave decision to use my voice.

I am beyond grateful that God has entrusted me with the ability to leave such an imprint on women’s lives; this is invaluable.
