Bisola Alabi has, over the years, played a significant role in helping women discard the idea that it is difficult or just for their male counterparts. She built a company to help women from all over Africa learn tech skills and get employment as tech talents. Her company has helped fresh graduates, immigrants, stay-at-home moms, and women of colour easily transition into tech and rise to prominent positions in their different tech roles.
Most tech jobs allow for team members to work remotely and often come with the option of earning in a different currency. “Because of this advantage that comes with most tech jobs, people who find it difficult to be physically present in an office or people looking to move out of their countries can still be relevant to the workforce and be job secure” Bisola shared.

She argued that the world is becoming more digital and organizations are looking to join the digital trend hence there is an increase in tech talent demand. She also mentioned that employees without tech training are likely to be laid off sometime in the future unless they upskill or reskill.
Women who have received tech training stand a better chance of contributing widely to the international community and also aiding the representation of women in tech. Sharing her thoughts on this, Bisola Alabi stated, “There is a wide gender gap in the tech sector. Currently, there are more men involved in tech than women, and this is partly because of the misconception that tech is just for men. Getting tech training helps women lessen the gender gap and contribute more to the development of their community. “
Women of colour also benefit significantly from tech training as it helps them hone skills that are currently being sought after by many organisations in the world today. The tech CEO stated that by getting proper training as a Business Analyst, Salesforce Admin, Product Marketer and other well sought after tech roles, stay-at-home moms, immigrants and women of colour can join the IT sector and make a difference in it. With these skills, they also get to increase the representation of women in the IT field and serve as role models for other women aspiring to join the tech field.
